What is an NDIS-Approved Provider?
An NDIS-approved provider is an organisation, such as Home Care Heroes, who delivers a form of support to a participant of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Customers trust NDIS-approved providers because it means the organisation has met the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) regarding qualifications, approvals, experience and capacity for approved supports.
There are three ways to manage your NDIS plan:
· NDIA (agency) managed
· Self-managed
· Plan-managed
If you are NDIA managed, then you can only use NDIS registered providers. However, if you are plan managed or self-managed, then you can use any provider.
